Kannada Star Duniya Vijay Wraps Up Filming for 'Mookuthi Amman 2'

In the lead-up to the release of 'Mookuthi Amman 2,' Kannada actor and director Duniya Vijay recently announced that he has completed his shooting schedule for the film. Vijay, who plays the main villain in the upcoming sequel, shared a video on his X (formerly Twitter) page expressing his gratitude to director Sundar C and the crew, and bidding farewell to everyone.

The film, which is a sequel to the 2020 hit 'Mookuthi Amman,' features a star-studded cast led by Nayanthara. Joining her are Regina Cassandra, Sunil, Yogi Babu, Abhinaya, Iniya, Garuda Ram, Singampuli, Vishu Vishwanath, Ajay Ghosh, Myna Nandini, and many others. The sequel is expected to be a grand comedy-fantasy experience that will bring together a diverse ensemble of talented actors.

Duniya Vijay's villainous role is anticipated to add a new dimension to the film, complementing Sundar C's signature style of mass and humor. The first-look poster of 'Mookuthi Amman 2,' released during the Dussehra festival, has already generated a lot of excitement among fans, with Nayanthara's divine and fierce appearance in a green silk saree carrying a trident.

The music for the film will be composed by Hiphop Tamizha Aadhi, who has collaborated with director Sundar C on several projects. The story, screenplay, and dialogues have been written by Venkat Raghavan, while the cinematography is handled by Gopi Amarnath. The first part, 'Mookuthi Amman,' was a huge success when it was released directly on a popular OTT platform in 2020, and this sequel is considered one of the most anticipated films of 2025.
