The Delhi High Court has adjourned Salman Khan's plea seeking to prevent the release of the film Kala Hiran until July 6. During the recent hearing, it was revealed that the film has not yet been submitted to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for approval.
Producer Amit Jani took to X to assert that the film will be released in 8000 cinema halls worldwide, stating that the court does not favor stars. His legal counsel informed the court that the film cannot be released without CBFC certification and assured that it would not be sent for certification before the next court date.
Salman Khan's plea alleges that the film unlawfully exploits his personality rights, citing promotional material that includes a lookalike wearing his signature blue bracelet and falsely portraying events related to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case. The case will be heard again on July 6.
