Kajol dons iconic Kuch Kuch Hota Hai jacket again!

Kajol recently paid homage to her character Anjali Sharma from the 1998 film Kuch Kuch Hota Hai by sharing a nostalgic photograph. The image featured Kajol sporting the iconic red jacket, a distinct visual element of her tomboyish persona in the movie. This throwback comes as the film celebrated its 28th anniversary on October 16, 2024. Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, which also starred Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji, explored themes of friendship and unrequited love. The film achieved significant box-office success and continues to be a prominent reference in late 1990s Hindi cinema. Kajol's performance, particularly her character's evolution, was central to the film's narrative. The film also featured Salman Khan in an extended cameo.

Kajol and director Karan Johar have collaborated on several successful films, including Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham (2001) and My Name Is Khan (2010), both featuring Shah Rukh Khan.
