Kaitlin Olson, known for her roles in "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia" and "Hacks," recently shared details about her very first acting role. This initial opportunity came in the 2000 cult classic film, "Coyote Ugly," where she played a nameless "Bidding Customer."
Olson, 50, described the experience as "terrifying" because she had no prior acting experience. The scene involved Kevin stripping on the bar to help Violet, with women bidding to take him home. Olson herself was part of this "chaotic" bidding frenzy.
Despite being new to the industry and surrounded by established actors, Olson recalled that the female cast members were "warm, lovely, welcoming and fun." She originally had just one line but decided to improvise, eventually shouting, "That's it! You wanna come home with mama?" When outbid, she hilariously exclaimed, "Damn you!"
Olson has since achieved significant success, leading ABC's "High Potential" and heading into season 18 of "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia." She has also earned Emmy nominations for her work on "Hacks" and "Flipped."
