Director Sanjay Gupta has officially confirmed that a sequel to the 2017 hit film 'Kaabil' is in development, with Hrithik Roshan slated to return in the lead role. 'Kaabil' was produced by Rakesh Roshan and featured a notable cast including Yami Gautam. Hrithik Roshan, who recently celebrated his 52nd birthday on January 10, 2026, also had his last theatrical release in 'War 2' in 2025.
