CJ ENM has significantly expanded its reach in Central and Eastern Europe by establishing new distribution partnerships with TV Markíza in Slovakia and TV Nova in the Czech Republic. Both broadcasters are part of the Central European Media Enterprises (CME) group.
This strategic expansion covers a total of ten scripted titles, featuring highly popular K-drama series such as "Signal," "Encounter," "Her Private Life," "Hotel Del Luna," and "True Beauty." Other notable CJ ENM titles included in the agreement are "The Witch's Diner," "Doom At Your Service," "Twinkling Watermelon," "Lovely Runner," and "Guardian: The Lonely And Great God."
These agreements are set to substantially increase the variety of Korean content accessible to audiences across Central and Eastern Europe. Sebastian Kim, Head of Content Distribution Business at CJ ENM, stated that the CEE market presents considerable opportunities for further expansion. CJ ENM intends to continue nurturing relationships with local broadcasters and platforms.
Furthermore, CJ ENM has entered into a memorandum of understanding with the Korea Creative Content Agency (KOCCA) and the Korean Cultural Center in Poland. This MoU, signed during the 2026 Poland-Korea Brand Week, aims to bolster local collaboration and featured fan-focused activities, including interactive booths for recent shows.
As part of the brand week, a special screening of "The Legend Of The Kitchen Soldier" was held, followed by a panel discussion with CJ ENM Chief Producer Kim Tae-hoon. He shared insights into the series' narrative and production process.
