"I wouldn't say [it was] difficult, just a little sad, but mostly because I just enjoy working with the company so much," Jackson, 50, told Us Weekly. He praised the "incredible cast and creative energy" of the show, saying he's grateful to have made new friends through the experience.
While "And Just Like That" wrapped up most storylines, fans have speculated about the possibility of a reunion film, similar to the two "Sex and the City" movies that followed the original series. However, Jackson claimed he has "absolutely no knowledge" of such plans.
Since the show's conclusion, Jackson has returned to his Broadway roots, taking on the role of Davis in the Alicia Keys-inspired jukebox musical "Hell's Kitchen." He will depart the production next month, but is already looking forward to his next theatrical venture, describing the experience as "a team sport" that is "hard, but so rewarding."
