Aamir Khan's Son Junaid's Independent Bollywood Journey

Aamir Khan has detailed his son Junaid Khan's deliberate decision to build an acting career independently. Junaid actively avoided leveraging his famous father's name, instead pursuing theatre and numerous auditions. He reportedly faced 8-10 rejections before landing his debut film, 'Maharaj'.

Aamir Khan himself was surprised to learn of Junaid's casting through filmmaker Aditya Chopra. The superstar emphasized Junaid's preference for forging his own identity, noting his son's shy and introverted nature as a good fit for his role. Aamir also reflected on regretting not spending enough time with his children due to his career.
