The Jumanji franchise is set to continue with a new sequel, as Sony Pictures prepares to begin production in Los Angeles this November. Dwayne Johnson, Kevin Hart, Jack Black, and Karen Gillan will all be reprising their roles from the previous Jumanji films, with the project once again being directed by Jake Kasdan.
The cast will also feature some new faces, including Brittany O'Grady, known for her work on the HBO series The White Lotus, and Burn Gorman, who has appeared in films like Beetlejuice and The Hunger Games: The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes.
While plot details are being kept under wraps, the script has been written by Jeff Pinkner and Scott Rosenberg. The Jumanji franchise is based on the 1981 children's book by Chris Van Allsburg, which was first adapted into a hit 1995 film starring the late Robin Williams.
