Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution Teaser Unveils Culling Game Arc Showdown

Jujutsu Kaisen fans have plenty to look forward to in the coming months, with the upcoming Jujutsu Kaisen: Execution film set to deliver a thrilling cinematic experience. On Oct. 17, 2025, GKIDS Films released the teaser for the forthcoming theatrical release, which compiles the anime's "Shibuya Incident" arc and the first two episodes of the series' long-awaited third season, The Culling Game: Part 1.

While the trailer provides a glimpse of the previously released "Shibuya Incident" storyline, it also offers a tense look at the confrontation between characters Yuta Okkotsu and Yuji Itadori. The compilation movie is scheduled to arrive in U.S. theaters on Dec. 5, 2025, giving fans an early opportunity to experience the highly anticipated Culling Game arc on the big screen.

According to the synopsis, the film follows jujutsu sorcerer Satoru Gojo as he steps "into the chaos" when a veil descends over Shibuya, trapping civilians and unleashing a clash of curses. In the aftermath, the deadly Culling Game begins, with Special Grade sorcerer Yuta Okkotsu assigned to carry out Yuji's execution for his perceived crimes. Fans will be among the first to witness this fateful battle between Gojo's two beloved students.
