Last month, Telugu superstar Jr NTR attended the promotional event for the Kannada film 'Kantara: Chapter 1' in Hyderabad, despite recovering from a minor injury. Throughout the event, the 'RRR' actor was seen holding his side in visible discomfort, occasionally closing his eyes.
Despite his condition, Jr NTR interacted with fans and joined the film's director Rishab Shetty on stage to show his support. In one incident, a fan was seen breaking through security to reach the actor and attempt to hug him. However, Jr NTR gently moved away and offered a handshake instead, before the fan was pulled back by security.
Jr NTR's team had earlier released a statement confirming that he had sustained a minor injury while shooting for an advertisement. They assured that his condition was stable and he would be resting for a couple of weeks on medical advice to ensure a complete recovery.
The actor, who recently made his Bollywood debut in 'War 2', is now working with 'KGF' and 'Salaar' director Prashanth Neel on a tentatively titled film 'NTRNEEL'. Meanwhile, 'Kantara: Chapter 1' is set to release on October 2.
