Stewart Hails Nolan's 'Odyssey' as 'Staggering'

Talk show host Jon Stewart recently lauded Christopher Nolan's latest film, 'The Odyssey,' describing it as a "staggering work" and commending Nolan as a "wizard." During their conversation, Stewart expressed his awe at the film's craft and beauty, urging audiences to experience it in theaters as intended.

Stewart was particularly impressed by Nolan's commitment to practical effects. Nolan confirmed that the film utilized real boats and water, aiming to immerse the audience in the journey. Despite the challenges, Nolan noted that the production was completed efficiently, though the cast and crew were exhausted by the end.

Furthermore, Stewart drew thematic parallels between 'The Odyssey' and Nolan's film 'Oppenheimer.' He explained that 'The Odyssey' felt like a continuation, exploring a character's reckoning with war's impact on men, much like 'Oppenheimer' dealt with the weight of creation. Nolan agreed, stating that he intended for the film to grapple with these profound themes in a modern context.
