Following initial confusion regarding its release, Netflix has clarified the schedule for Steel Ball Run: JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. Stages two and three of the series will now be released consecutively, with all 11 episodes airing weekly beginning September 25, 2026. This announcement came during a panel at Anime Expo 2026.
At the same event, a new trailer was unveiled. The show's official X account also shared new character art and revealed the Japanese voice cast for several characters, including Tomoaki Maeno as Mountain Tim, Tomokazu Sugita as Funny Valentine, and Yoko Hikasa as Hot Pants.
The series logline describes a perilous desert crossing of roughly 750 miles, where protagonists Johnny Joestar and Gyro Zeppeli navigate the dangerous 'Devil's Palm.' As mysterious events unfold, they realize the race is more than a competition, pushing forward into the second stage amidst colliding hidden motives.
