Joanna Gaines is currently undertaking a significant renovation of her family's kitchen, a project that marks its first overhaul in approximately 15 years. The Magnolia co-founder is managing the extensive construction at their Texas farmhouse while her five children are in the final two weeks of their school year.
Gaines shared that she is intentionally avoiding moving out during the renovation, a decision influenced by her children's academic schedule. The updates to the kitchen include the installation of a massive hutch, already filled with tableware, and a new, large warehouse window that Gaines particularly admires. The designer has previously shared glimpses of the renovation's impact on her daily life, including enjoying meals amidst construction noise.
