Jill Wagner: From Action Star to Arctic Christmas

Actress Jill Wagner is navigating two distinct worlds: the high-stakes action of "Lioness" and the festive spirit of "A Very Arctic Christmas." Away from Hollywood, Wagner finds fulfillment in a simpler life on a Tennessee farm, raising her two daughters in a close-knit community.

She cherishes the small-town mentality, describing it as a gift for her children's upbringing. Wagner hopes this slower pace instills lasting values, even if her daughters eventually pursue careers in larger cities.

In "A Very Arctic Christmas," which premieres October 29 on Great American Pure Flix and airs October 31 on Great American Family, Wagner collaborates with Cameron Mathison. She plays Jane, a wildlife conservationist assisting a father and daughter during an unexpected Arctic journey.

Wagner also incorporates her family into her Christmas film tradition. She previously included her daughters as extras and hopes future viewings of these movies become a cherished family ritual, creating lasting memories.

The actress is working towards a more rural lifestyle for her daughters, though farm work itself is still a developing interest for them. Wagner and her family host charitable events at their farm, Scott Mansion Farms, highlighting the strong community support and the importance of good neighbors.

She aims to pass on her love for local festivals and community traditions to her children, weaving these experiences into the fabric of their lives.
