In a recent development, actor Saurabh Gumber, who was last seen in the role of Anindo in the show Jhanak, has joined the cast of Lakshmi Ka Safar. The show, a spin-off of Mangal Lakshmi, features Sanika Amit and Shubham Dipta in the lead roles and recently introduced Manan Joshi as Karan.
Gumber will be playing the character of Vyom, Karan's younger brother, in the show. Described as a rich, rude, and arrogant individual, Vyom's entry is set to add fresh tension and drama to the narrative. Confirming his new role, Gumber expressed his excitement, stating, "Yes, I'm currently shooting for the show and I'm very excited to be part of it. I'm playing a negative role -- Vyom is rich, rude and arrogant. My entry will bring new twists and turns in the story."
Known for his roles in shows like Maharaj Ki Jai Ho, Mahashakti, Gathbandhan, and Kumkum Bhagya, Gumber gained recognition for his portrayal of Raunak in Kuch Reet Jagat Ki Aisi Hai. Talking about his inclination toward grey roles, the actor said, "If you act in a TV show, it's either great to play the hero or, if not the titular role, better to essay a negative one. It's not about getting typecast -- it's my choice."
