- He criticizes the show for being a "grotesque" exploitation.
- Schlossberg suggests profits should fund causes JFK championed.

Jack Schlossberg, grandson of President John F. Kennedy, has publicly denounced a new television series focusing on his uncle, John F. Kennedy Jr., and Carolyn Bessette. Schlossberg described the show as "fiction" and a "grotesque" portrayal of his family's life.
During a recent interview, Schlossberg expressed dismay that producer Ryan Murphy is generating significant profits from a dramatized account. He suggested that Murphy should redirect these earnings to causes championed by John F. Kennedy Jr., such as justice initiatives, or to the JFK Library.
Schlossberg also noted a broader concern about misinformation surrounding the Kennedy family's legacy. He believes such portrayals, especially in the current political climate, can lead to confusion about his family's history and contributions.
Executive producer Brad Simpson defended the series, stating it was created with "sincerity" and aimed to "celebrate the life" of John F. Kennedy Jr. and Carolyn Bessette, encouraging viewers to watch before judging.
