Jessie James Decker Embraces Co-Sleeping with All 4 Kids Until 12 Months

In a recent Q&A on her Instagram Stories, singer and actress Jessie James Decker, 37, opened up about her parenting approach, revealing that she co-slept with all four of her children until they were around 12 months old. Decker, who shares her daughter Vivianne, 11, and sons Eric Jr., 9, Forrest, 7, and Denver, 19 months, with her husband Eric Decker, explained that this felt "natural" to her.

"I'm not here to tell anyone what to do or how to live their life (gotta do what's best for you and what feels right) but that's what personally felt natural to me," Decker said. "My thoughts are they are little babies that lived in me for 9 months & they need comfort and connection."

In February, Decker shared a heartwarming video on Instagram celebrating her son Denver's first birthday. The emotional footage showed intimate moments from the hospital room after Decker welcomed her youngest child, as well as clips of her three older kids meeting their new baby brother for the first time. "Watching all of my babies run into the room to meet their little brother was like a movie in slow motion," Decker wrote in the caption.

As of October 2025, Decker continues to be an open and honest voice in the parenting community, encouraging other mothers to do what feels right for their families.
