As of September 2025, country singer Jessie James Decker, 37, and her retired NFL player husband Eric Decker, 38, have been married for 12 years and are opening up about the secrets to their strong relationship. The couple, who met in 2011 and married in 2013, share that their shared "value system" and commitment to family life in Nashville have been crucial to their lasting bond.

"We do love the community we raise our kids in [in Nashville]. We take time to just be home and, in a sense, be with our family, that grounds us," Eric told Fox News last month. Jessie added, "I think we just view the world the same way. We had a strong foundation to begin with, and we're aligned on all of our views of just life in general."

The Deckers also revealed that competing together on the latest season of the reality show "Special Forces: World's Toughest Test" brought them even closer. While they described the grueling experience as "the toughest task," Jessie said they had "one of the best dates and nights of our entire marriage" after filming, bonding over their shared challenges.

"We went through something really hard together, and it really does bring you closer together," Jessie said. "We were just so grateful to be lying in that bed together."
