Political Thriller 'The Savant' Finally Premieres July

Jessica Chastain's political thriller series, "The Savant," is slated for a July release on Apple TV+. Originally scheduled for a September 2025 premiere, the show's debut was postponed by Apple TV+ after the assassination of Charlie Kirk. Chastain, who also serves as an executive producer, stars as an investigator working undercover on the dark web to identify hate groups and prevent domestic terrorism.

Chastain expressed her eagerness for the series to be seen, stating that its themes of preventing violence are particularly relevant. While she respected Apple's decision to pause the release, she remained hopeful for its eventual audience reach. The series features a notable cast including Nnamdi Asomugha and Pablo Schreiber.
