Jesse Tyler Ferguson shared his perspective on not being invited to Taylor Swift's wedding, an event that sparked considerable fan confusion. He admitted to experiencing "FOMO" due to the widespread assumption that he would be present.

Ferguson clarified that while he has had brief encounters with Swift, including a performance at a Pride event and an appearance in her "You Need to Calm Down" music video, he does not know her personally. He explained that many people contacted him, assuming his involvement in the video meant an invitation.

Adding to the confusion, Ferguson's "Modern Family" co-star Eric Stonestreet did attend Swift's wedding. Stonestreet is a longtime friend of Travis Kelce, having known him from their shared history in Kansas. This attendance by Stonestreet further fueled public curiosity about Ferguson's own absence.

To alleviate fan questions, Ferguson explained he was occupied with a show in London during the wedding on July 3. This prevented him from attending, though he noted he would not have expected an invitation. The event itself reportedly had an estimated 1,000 guests.
