Jess Glynne's Hit Reigns TikTok as Top Song

Jess Glynne's 2015 chart-topping single, "Hold My Hand," has officially been recognized as the UK's song of the year on TikTok. This accolade follows its significant viral success driven by the "nothing beats a Jet2holiday" trend.

The song's renewed popularity stemmed from TikTok users creatively using the audio to humorously depict their holiday mishaps and travel-related chaos. This trend injected new life into the decade-old track, leading to its widespread adoption.

"Hold My Hand" has since been featured in approximately 6.6 million videos on the platform, demonstrating its immense digital impact. Earlier this year, the song also claimed the title of TikTok's UK and global song of the summer.
