More than 30 years after Jerry Garcia envisioned it, his dream project, 'Eyes of the World: The Jerry Garcia Experience,' will open in San Francisco in early 2027. This immersive, 40,000-square-foot touring exhibition aims to keep the Grateful Dead frontman's legacy alive.
Sanctioned by his estate, the experience will feature a blend of music, art, cultural influences, an animated film, and live performances by Jerry Garcia tribute bands. Guests will journey through eight rooms recreating eras of Garcia's life, from his formative San Francisco years to his passion for conservation.
The production is being brought to life by a team of multimedia artists and producers, working closely with Jerry Garcia's wife, Manasha, and daughter, Keelin. A portion of ticket proceeds will be dedicated to supporting arts education and environmental conservation through the Jerry Garcia Foundation.
