Jennifer Lopez recently shared a vulnerable moment during her Las Vegas residency, "The JLo Show: Up All Night Live." Performing on Friday night, the 56-year-old entertainer revealed that after her third marriage, to Marc Anthony, ended in divorce in 2011, she was close to giving up entirely.
Lopez recounted calling a mentor, Louise Hay, who encouraged her with a dance analogy. "When you get the steps wrong, what do you do?" Hay reportedly asked. Lopez's response, "I just keep going until I get the steps right," led to Hay's advice: "Always keep dancing."
Inspired, Lopez wished the same resilience for her audience, urging them to "dance and dance and dance again." She then performed her hit song "Dance Again," as the crowd cheered. This reflection on perseverance has become a part of her Las Vegas act, which runs at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace until March 28.
Lopez has previously mentioned maintaining an amicable co-parenting relationship with ex-husband Marc Anthony. She also appeared to reference past relationships, including her brief marriage to Ben Affleck, during her 2025 European tour with new songs.
