Jennifer Lopez has shared details about a memorable performance moment from August 2025. During a concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan, as part of her Up All Night: Live in 2025 tour, a sizable cricket landed on her neck while she was singing a ballad.
Lopez described the unexpected encounter on the SmartLess podcast. She recalled a quiet, spotlighted moment on stage when the audience began to react with screams, which was unusual for her typical energetic performances. The singer explained that she remained still to finish the song before reacting to the insect, which she described as appearing large, like a helicopter, when it flew off.
The surprising incident was documented in video footage shared online by a fan account, which humorously referenced Lopez's 2025 film, 'Kiss of the Spider Woman,' by coining the phrase 'Kiss of the Cricket Woman.' Lopez herself later joked about the tickling sensation, noting that she might have reacted differently if she had immediately known the extent of the bug's size.
