Dancing with the Stars pro Jenna Johnson is setting her sights on Broadway, expressing a strong desire to join the cast of the long-running musical Chicago. She envisions herself stepping into the spotlight as either Roxie Hart or Velma Kelly, the musical's central characters.

Johnson shared her aspirations, stating she would be honored to take on either role and would even consider relocating to New York for the opportunity. Her enthusiasm is matched by her "Dancing with the Stars" season 35 partner, Harry Shum Jr., who has pledged his support and jokingly suggested they could "trade skill sets" to help her prepare.

The musical "Chicago" features two leading roles, Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, who use their criminal notoriety to achieve celebrity status in 1920s Chicago. The production has a rich history, with its current revival celebrating its 30th anniversary. Several "Dancing with the Stars" alumni, including Mark Ballas and Whitney Leavitt, have previously starred in "Chicago."
