Acclaimed filmmaker Jeff Nichols is gearing up to direct a new supernatural Southern gothic thriller titled 'King Snake'. According to the announcement made on November 1st, 2025, Nichols has assembled a stellar cast led by Margaret Qualley and Drew Starkey, who will portray a young couple inheriting a farm in rural Arkansas.
The film, which is being financed and produced by FilmNation Entertainment, will follow the couple as they attempt to conquer the physical and metaphysical demons haunting their new property. Joining Qualley and Starkey in the cast is veteran actor Michael Shannon.
