Sixty-five-year-old martial arts icon Jean-Claude Van Damme recently issued a direct challenge to boxer Jake Paul for a fight. The Belgian star, known for his 1980s and 90s action films, proposed a match following Paul's recent bout. Van Damme posted a video detailing his terms, emphasizing no low kicks to protect Paul's knee and ankle. He also suggested rules for mutual protection and acknowledged Paul's courage in his fight against Anthony Joshua.
Van Damme suggested several fight locations, including Macau, Las Vegas, the Middle East, Paris, or the UK, with a preference for Macau, Dubai, or Abu Dhabi. He pledged to donate 15% of his profits to charity and encouraged Paul to do the same, extending the offer to promoters as well. Van Damme also taunted Paul's lifestyle, contrasting it with his own.
