Jayasurya Embarks on International Shoot for 'Mayan'

The production of the mystery thriller 'Mayan - Chapter 1,' starring Malayalam actor Jayasurya, has officially begun. The film's initial shooting schedule is currently underway in Russia, with the team embarking on an international leg of production.
Following the Russia schedule, the film is expected to shift its production base to Kerala later in August. 'Mayan - Chapter 1' is set to explore the enigmatic aspects of lesser-known Kerala rituals, including vipareetha aaraadhana, and other mysterious traditions.
Directed by Jithin K Jose, the film also features Nyla Usha, Vijay Babu, and Niranjana Anoop. The screenplay is a collaborative effort between Jithin K Jose and veteran filmmaker Raffi, bringing together several members from the team of Jose's debut film 'Kalamkaval'.
