Jason Lewis: From TV to Nine-Book Fantasy Saga

Actor Jason Lewis has embarked on an ambitious literary endeavor, crafting a nine-book fantasy series. The genesis of this project predates the COVID-19 pandemic and his relocation to Costa Rica.

Lewis revealed on the "Are You a Charlotte?" podcast that he commenced outlining the novel series in September prior to the pandemic. This period became an intense focus for mapping out the overarching narrative of nine distinct books, employing extensive visual aids like Post-it notes.

Despite a long-standing inclination towards storytelling and writing, including scripts, Lewis had previously kept his works private due to self-criticism. He found that to fully realize the worlds in his imagination, writing novels offered greater freedom than screenplays.

Lewis, a lifelong enthusiast of fantasy and various genres, is now intensely focused on his novel series. He is currently revising the seventh book, having started with the ending of the entire saga and plans to work backward. This expansive 800-page book represents a significant commitment to his creative vision.
