14 Oct
Summary
- Jason Kelce questioned if Taylor Swift has a Halloween song.
- He noted her 'Folklore' album evoked spooky, woods-themed vibes.
- Swift's 'Eras Tour' staging also featured a dark forest theme.
During a recent episode of the "New Heights" podcast, retired NFL star Jason Kelce inquired about Taylor Swift's musical contributions to Halloween. Kelce, along with his brother Travis, discussed popular spooky songs before Jason questioned if Swift had ever released a track fitting the genre. He suggested that her "Folklore" album, released in a prior period, carried a "very Fall coded" and woods-themed atmosphere, hinting at a spooky aesthetic.
The "Folklore" album's cover art indeed features Swift in a woodland setting, and her "Eras Tour" staging for the album included a dark forest backdrop and a witchy performance of "Willow." Swift has also released a cinematic music video for her recent song "Patient Zero," inspired by the thriller "Rebecca," further aligning with darker themes. Despite not having a direct Halloween song, her prior releases include the Christmas track "Christmas Tree Farm" and "New Years Day."
