In November 2025, the Japan Arts Council's Film Frontier initiative has announced the five participants for its second cohort of the Global Networking Program. The selected filmmakers, including directors Kaneko Yurina, Kusano Natsuka, Takahashi Sota, Fujimoto Akio, and producer Yoshihara Hiroyuki, will receive 18 months of tailored support to help them develop their international careers.
