Janhvi Kapoor recently shared a deeply personal account of Shikhar Pahariya's quiet support after the tragic death of her mother, Sridevi, in 2018. During an appearance on Koffee With Karan, Kapoor revealed that Shikhar had proactively moved to a friend's house in Juhu for about a month. This significant gesture, which Janhvi only learned about much later, underscored his commitment and availability to her during one of the most challenging periods of her life.
Sridevi passed away in Dubai in February 2018, a few months prior to Janhvi's own Bollywood debut in 'Dhadak'. Kapoor has previously spoken about her long-standing relationship with Shikhar, indicating he has been a part of her life since her teenage years and acknowledging their mutual support for each other's ambitions.
