Actor Jang Dong Yoon Announces Surprise Wedding This October

South Korean actor Jang Dong Yoon announced on August 25 that he will be getting married this October. He chose to share the happy news directly with his fans through a personal, handwritten letter posted on Instagram, highlighting his deep appreciation for their ongoing support.

In his letter, Jang Dong Yoon shared that he is marrying someone he has been with for a long time. The couple intends to hold a small and quiet wedding ceremony, attended by their families. While he kept his fiancée's identity private, Korean media outlet Newsen reported her to be actress Kim Seung Yoon, who has appeared in "The Tale of Nokdu" and other productions. Notably, Jang Dong Yoon directed Kim Seung Yoon in the film "The Yeast."

Jang Dong Yoon's agency, BH Entertainment, confirmed the marriage plans, stating that the ceremony will be a private affair with family in October. The actor conveyed that after a long period together, he and his partner have grown to understand and cherish each other deeply, and now wish to build a happy life as companions.
