Jane the Virgin Stars Reunite for New Film

Jane the Virgin alums Gina Rodriguez and Justin Baldoni have recently reunited professionally for Rodriguez's upcoming theatrical directorial debut, "House of Guerrero." Baldoni's Wayfarer Studios is set to produce the boxing film, which aims to offer a fresh perspective on the genre and spotlight the sport's community connections.

Rodriguez, who has directed several television episodes, expressed her deep personal connection to the project, stating it feels like a new chapter. She emphasized her mission to showcase boxing's life lessons through the film, drawing from her own lifelong experience with the sport. "House of Guerrero" is described as a boxing movie for a new generation.

The reunion sparks nostalgia for fans of "Jane the Virgin," which starred Rodriguez as Jane Villanueva, Baldoni as Rafael Solano, and Jaime Camil as Rogelio de la Vega. The series premiered in 2014 and concluded its five-season run in 2019. Rodriguez and Baldoni have maintained a close friendship since the show ended, with Rodriguez calling Baldoni her "brother forever."
