Jamtara 2 Actor Sachin Chandwade Dies by Suicide at 25

On October 24, 2025, the entertainment industry was left in shock as Sachin Chandwade, a rising actor known for his role in the series Jamtara 2, passed away by suicide at the age of 25. Chandwade, who hailed from Parola in Jalgaon district, had been working as a software engineer in Pune while pursuing his passion for acting.

Just five days before his tragic passing, Chandwade had shared the motion poster of his upcoming Marathi film Asurvan, directed by Sachin Ramchandra Ambat and co-starring Pooja Moily and Anuj Thakare. The film was scheduled for release later this year, and Chandwade had expressed excitement about the project on social media.

Chandwade's family discovered him hanging at his home on October 23, 2025, and rushed him to a nearby hospital. However, despite their efforts, doctors were unable to save him. As his condition deteriorated, he was transferred to a hospital in Dhule, where he passed away around 1:30 am on the night of October 24.

The young actor's sudden demise has left his fans and the industry in a state of shock. Chandwade's role in Jamtara 2 had earned him recognition and opened new opportunities in the industry, and his upcoming film Asurvan was eagerly anticipated by his supporters.
