Actor Max Greenfield, who played Schmidt, has confirmed seeing scripts written by creator Elizabeth Meriweather, calling them "amazing." Greenfield's comments follow other cast members' positive reflections on the show, which aired from 2011 to 2018 on Fox. Meanwhile, Jake Johnson, who starred as Nick Miller, recently discussed being asked by studio executives to lose weight for his role, humorously attributing his previous weight to enjoying snacks.
