James Marsters has officially divorced ex-wife Patricia Jasmin Rahman, with the final documents filed on March 3, 2026, five years after their separation was first announced. The actor, known for his role in Buffy the Vampire Slayer, will pay Rahman $4,000 monthly in spousal support based on his estimated $16,000 monthly income.
This support arrangement is set to continue until June 1, 2026, or until Rahman's remarriage or the death of either party, whichever occurs first. Marsters is also maintaining health, dental, and vision insurance for Rahman.
The divorce proceedings, initiated when Rahman filed in January 2021, took nearly five years to resolve. The court agreement outlines a division of assets, with Rahman receiving a 2012 Mazda, half of an IRA totaling over $150,000, and approximately $27,600 from another account. Marsters retains a 2012 Honda Accord and their Los Angeles home.
As part of the property division, Marsters is required to pay Rahman $118,983.50. He will also retain his bank accounts. Prior to his marriage to Rahman, Marsters was married to Liane Davidson from 1989 to 1997, with whom he shares a son, Sullivan. He also raised his niece as his own.
