Jake Lacy Feared Adam Driver Attack on Girls Set

Jake Lacy, known for his role as Fran Parker in HBO's 'Girls,' shared a startling recollection from the show's set. Lacy admitted to feeling a sense of exhilaration mixed with fear during a scene, stating he thought his co-star Adam Driver "might hit me." He described the moment as intense, particularly as he was standing next to Driver while filming a scene intended to make Driver jealous.

These comments emerge in the wake of Lena Dunham's recently released memoir, 'Famesick.' In the book, Dunham, the creator of 'Girls,' details her experiences working on the series and her personal life during that period. She specifically described Star Wars actor Adam Driver as "verbally aggressive" and "physically imposing."

Dunham recounted a particularly frightening incident where, during a fight scene rehearsal, Driver allegedly screamed "F***ING SAY SOMETHING" and hurled a chair at a wall near her. She stated he further yelled, "WAKE THE F**K UP. I'M SICK OF WATCHING YOU JUST STARE."

Driver, when recently asked about Dunham's claims at the Cannes Film Festival while promoting his film 'Paper Tiger,' responded with a humorous quip. He stated, "I have no comment on any of that - I'm saving it all for my book," which elicited laughter from the press conference.
