Jai's Emotional Tribute to Thalapathy Vijay Goes Viral

Actor Jai recently delivered an emotional speech at a promotional event for his upcoming film, 'Sattendru Maarudhu Vaanilai,' drawing significant attention for his tribute to Chief Minister Vijay. Jai began by emulating Vijay's signature style, expressing a long-held wish to speak that way. His words resonated widely, especially with Vijay's fan base, quickly circulating on social media.

In subsequent interviews, Jai elaborated on his profound admiration for Vijay, stating, "I'm a hundred percent Vijay Anna fan." He shared that he has watched many of Vijay's films multiple times, specifically to study his acting techniques and screen presence. Jai highlighted 'Kuruvi' as a film he has seen at least 12 times, emphasizing his habit of observing Vijay's body language, dialogue delivery, and subtle performance nuances.

Jai admitted that Vijay's influence is palpable in his own acting, even when he consciously tries to avoid it. "Somewhere, Vijay Anna's body language naturally comes through in me," he confessed. This connection is heightened by his role in 'Sattendru Maarudhu Vaanilai,' where he portrays a devoted Vijay fan, making the character deeply personal. The film, a romantic comedy directed by Babu Vijay, is scheduled for release on May 15.

Addressing the film's narrative, Jai praised director Babu Vijay for prioritizing story over hero-centric elements, attributing the film's strong outcome to the script's demands. He also drew parallels between the film's title, 'Sattendru Maarudhu Vaanilai' (Sudden Change of Weather), and the recent political shifts in Tamil Nadu, expressing optimism for a lasting positive change. The movie also features Meenakshi Govindharajan in the lead role, alongside Yogi Babu, Garuda Ram, and others.
