Jailer 2: Rajini Shines, Mohanlal Fans Heartbroken

Malayalam actor Aaryan has shared his mixed feelings about the recently released film Jailer 2, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar. As a devoted admirer of Rajinikanth, Aaryan found the movie highly satisfying, praising the star's prominent role. However, his enthusiasm was tempered by what he perceived as a significant lack of screen time for fellow celebrated actor Mohanlal, affectionately known as Lalettan.

Aaryan detailed his disappointment on Instagram, contrasting his enjoyment as a Rajinikanth fan with his heartbreak as a Mohanlal fan. He observed that while the first film effectively balanced individual moments for key actors like Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff alongside Rajinikanth, Jailer 2 leaned heavily on Rajinikanth. He even expressed a wish for Mohanlal's scenes from the trailer to have been retained in the final cut.

Despite his reservations about Mohanlal's role, Aaryan still recommended Jailer 2 as a worthwhile watch for general audiences. He concluded by advising fellow Mohanlal enthusiasts to manage their expectations before entering the cinema. The film itself sees Rajinikanth reprising his role as "Tiger" Muthuvel Pandian, with an ensemble cast including Ramya Krishnan, SJ Suryah, and notable extended cameos from Mohanlal, Shiva Rajkumar, and Jackie Shroff. Hrithik Roshan also makes a special appearance, marking his Tamil debut alongside Rajinikanth.
