Rajinikanth's action-packed sequel, Jailer 2, is poised to make its digital debut on Amazon Prime Video around November 12, 2026. This strategic release follows approximately one month after the film's theatrical launch on October 15, 2023. Amazon Prime Video has secured the digital streaming rights for Jailer 2, with reports indicating a significant deal valued at Rs 160 crore. This acquisition highlights the film's strong market appeal and the streaming platform's interest in major South Indian releases.

Directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, Jailer 2 features Rajinikanth reprising his iconic role as Tiger Muthuvel Pandian. The narrative sees the retired jailer thrust back into perilous situations when his family faces threats. The sequel's star-studded cast includes Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, Mirnaa, SJ Suryah, Vidya Balan, Suraj Venjaramoodu, and Mithun Chakraborty.

Adding to the excitement, Mohanlal and Shiva Rajkumar make their return, with Shiva Rajkumar appearing as Narasimha in an extended cameo. Hrithik Roshan makes a special appearance, and Vijay Sethupathi's presence at the end fuels speculation about the franchise's future.
