Jailer 2 has officially broken even at the North American box office, accumulating nearly $7 million in ticket sales. The film demonstrated strong momentum, especially with a significant increase on its second Saturday. This box office performance has propelled it past Ponniyin Selvan 1, establishing it as the third-highest-grossing Kollywood film in North America.
The action-comedy thriller collected $6.85 million in its first 10 days, exceeding its break-even target of $6.5 million. This success has resulted in an additional profit of $350,000 for the distributor. The film is expected to continue its strong run and potentially reach the $8 million mark.
With its current earnings, Jailer 2 now holds the third position among Kollywood's top-grossing films in North America, following closely behind Jailer and Coolie. This marks a notable comeback for Rajinikanth after previous films did not meet box office expectations.
