Actor Jagjeet Sandhu Directs, Produces His Own Film

Punjabi and Hindi actor Jagjeet Sandhu has transitioned to filmmaking, simultaneously directing, producing, and starring in 'Oye Bhole Oye 2'. Sandhu expressed that assuming these multiple roles was crucial for safeguarding the narrative's original vision, enabling him to fully embody the character from script to final edit.

The experience of directing for the first time while managing production and acting was demanding but ultimately educational for Sandhu. He emphasized that complete creative control was instrumental in bringing his precise vision to fruition. The film's narrative centers on profound themes including land ownership, cultural identity, and the preservation of agricultural heritage.

Sandhu's directorial goal was to illustrate the reactions of common individuals when aspects of their lives, previously taken for granted, are endangered.
