Jackson Duo Honored for Humanitarian Efforts

The HollyRod Foundation will present its Clarence & Jacqueline Avant Humanitarian Award to esteemed actors Samuel L. Jackson and LaTanya Richardson Jackson. This recognition highlights their commitment to humanitarian causes.

The foundation, co-founded by Holly Robinson Peete and Rodney Peete in 1999, is celebrating 33 years of service. It focuses on raising awareness and providing vital resources to families impacted by autism and Parkinson's Disease diagnoses.

This year's gala, themed 'Action in Motion,' is the organization's main fundraising event. It emphasizes the foundation's mission to translate awareness into tangible support for families. Other honorees include Maureen McCormick, Bruce Sickler, Ahman Green, Camille Joy Robinson, Tanner Smith, Teoscar Hernández, and Jennifer Hernández. The event is scheduled for November 7th in Los Angeles.
