Jackie Shroff's Father's Astounding Prediction Revealed

Jackie Shroff recently shared a poignant anecdote about his father's foresight. Years before Jackie Shroff considered a career in films, his astrologer father predicted he would become an actor. This prediction came true as Shroff later embarked on a successful acting journey.

During the finale shoot of a popular dance reality show, Shroff revisited his role in the 1983 film 'Hero.' He recalled the experience of shooting a significant dance sequence, 'Apni Taqdeer Toh Hero Hai,' opposite Meenakshi Seshadri. Unlike Seshadri, who was formally trained in dance, Shroff had no such background.

Shroff recounted the challenges of contradictory instructions from director Subhash Ghai and choreographer Saroj Khan regarding his performance. He humorously described balancing their directions, which involved a lot of head movement. He believes his lack of formal dance training allowed him to naturally inhabit the character, rather than focusing on technical dance prowess.

This collaboration with Meenakshi Seshadri in 'Hero' marked the beginning of their on-screen partnership. The duo went on to star together in several films throughout the 1980s and early 1990s.
