Jackie Chan's Team Joins Spider-Man for New Action!

The upcoming 'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' will feature the renowned Jackie Chan Stunt Team, infusing decades of martial arts expertise into Tom Holland's next Marvel outing. This significant addition promises a fresh, grounded approach to the film's action choreography, steering it towards a more practical and intensely staged combat style. Director Destin Daniel Cretton is guiding this new direction.

Tom Holland expressed his excitement, noting that the film showcases a unique action style previously unseen in the franchise. The veteran action star's team was present during rehearsals in London, with Chan himself observing his professionals work on complex sequences. Chan shared that his team's involvement marked a "really lovely blessing" for the production, as they contribute their signature blend of athleticism and authentic stunt work.

The Jackie Chan Stunt Team is celebrated for its physically demanding and practical action, distinct from heavy reliance on special effects. Their hallmark involves intricate martial arts choreography, wirework, and genuine stunts, evident in iconic films like 'Police Story.' This philosophy aligns with reports of 'Brand New Day' incorporating more down-to-earth action. Chan also praised Holland's dedication to performing many of his own stunts.

'Spider-Man: Brand New Day' is scheduled for release on July 31, 2026, promising fans an unprecedented cinematic experience driven by world-class stunt coordination.
