Nicholson's Daughter Shares Rare Birthday Tribute

Jack Nicholson's daughter, Lorraine, provided a rare look at the actor as he celebrated his 89th birthday on April 23rd. She posted throwback images on her Instagram Story, showing her father in good spirits.

Lorraine, 36, shared pictures with captions expressing disbelief at his age, "89?" and "89!!". Jack Nicholson has maintained a very private life since his final acting role in the 2010 romantic comedy "How Do You Know."

He has five children from various relationships. His daughter Jennifer was born in 1963, followed by Caleb Goddard, whose paternity Jack has not publicly confirmed. In 1982, he welcomed Honey, and later Tessa Gourin, whose paternity also remains unconfirmed by the actor.

Lorraine, born in 1990, and her brother Ray, born in 1992, are from his relationship with Rebecca Broussard. Jack has spoken about wanting to be an inspirational influence on his younger children without overwhelming them.

Lorraine has described her father as a "mentor" and has followed him into the "family business" of acting. She noted his advice to "be modest and let your work speak for yourself."

In a notable public appearance, Jack attended the SNL 50th Anniversary Special with Lorraine, where he was honored by friend Adam Sandler.
