Michael Douglas: Jack Nicholson's Hollywood Farewell

Michael Douglas recently shared an update on the well-being of his close friend, Jack Nicholson. Douglas confirmed that the iconic 89-year-old actor has retired from filmmaking and is no longer actively working in Hollywood. He described Nicholson as being in good health but having intentionally withdrawn from public life, preferring a more private existence.

Douglas, 82, expressed a personal regret that he and Nicholson never had the opportunity to act together on screen. Their enduring friendship began decades ago when Douglas produced Nicholson's career-defining role in the critically acclaimed 1975 film "One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest." Nicholson's final film appearance was in 2010's "How Do You Know."
