J. Cole achieved his seventh No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 with the release of "The Fall-Off." The album debuted at the top spot for the chart dated February 21, earning 280,000 equivalent album units in its first week. This marks the most substantial weekly performance for an R&B or hip-hop album in approximately one year.
Streaming equivalent albums (SEA) accounted for 166,500 units, while traditional album sales reached 113,000. A significant portion of these sales, 80,000 units, came from vinyl purchases, which is J. Cole's highest sales week on vinyl and the best for an R&B/hip-hop album in a year.
Elsewhere on the charts, Bad Bunny saw significant gains. His album "DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS" climbed to No. 2 with 250,000 units, aided by a new vinyl release. ATEEZ's "GOLDEN HOUR : Part.4" debuted at No. 3 with 200,000 units, driven largely by traditional sales from numerous physical variants.
